I made this card for a special little girl named Delia. I found out about her on Dustin Pike's blog. She has been diagnosed with leukemia. She loves art and owls, so Dustin, who already gives away a free digi every Wednesday, offered up some way cute owl images for anyone who wanted to send her a card. I decided to use the Owl in bed, showing that everyone gets sick, even owls. I colored the owl with my Copic markers and a little colored pencil to help highlight. The band aids are real-dollar store score-and I'm sure will come into good use for more than just scrapes and cuts.

Owl for Delia
