39 and holding.

One of my nearest and dearest just celebrated her second 39th birthday.  Yes, you read that right.  She hit the good ole foxy 40.  She's wearing it well, and I wanted to make her something sexy-ish, so she didn't feel so decrepit.

This is Lady Raven, from Kenny K.  My foxy 40 friend is the one who got me into this crazy world of crafting, and has continued to be my inspiration.  She makes much, much cooler things than I do, but I'm still a wee pup.  The inside of the card said "But so do fallen arches, rheumatism, faulty eyesight, and the tendecy to tell a story to the same person 3 or 4 times."  She's a kick in the pants, and talented as hell.  I even inked up my body permanently with an image she drew.

She's got the same one. Glo, you continue to amaze me.  I can't thank you enough for being my friend, and for giving me this horrible addiction.  Always creepy, always cool.

Hogs and Sketches #10

I don't know where the hell I was last month for the Hambo sketch challenge.  I think I was engulfed in that 12x12 I've been tackling. No matter, my trusty 5 followers, I'm back with this months challenge.

This is Miss Fortune.  She's a Kenny K digi image.  Part of the Gothik Angelz collection. I've got three so far, I'm just loving these hot mamas. They opened up the challenge this month to using any image, rather than just a Hambo image. This might be my first entry this month, or might be my only. Either way, I couldn't wait to put her to good use.  Colored with my Copics, which I'm slowly getting better at.  Jazzed her up with Stickles, because they rock, and I love glitter.

Hopefully I'll get some good ole creepy stuffs here too.  My season is upon me, and I feel witchy.  Head on over to the Hambo blog, and check out this months challenge. You could win some neat o stuff. Not to mention, they've got some super cute images, rubber and digi.

Kenny K

I have been working on a 12x12 scrapbook (my actual first one) for a couple months now.  My my, they sure are time consuming.  I didn't think to take pictures of it until I had 22 pages done.  I did, however, take a break to procure some awesome digi images from Kenny K.  All I've done so far is color these stunning ladies, but I hope to soon put them to good use.  I give you my new ladies.

 This is Lady Raven.

And THIS is Allura Von D.  Hot little cartoonies, aren't they?
