Catching Up..2nd post today

They just keep coming, don't they?

Birthdays.

We just rekindled our relationship with one of the Sister in Laws, and she's been into this role playing game Shaiya recently.  I had no idea what the hell it was, because I'm a cool kid, so off to Google I go!
I do say, she sure is pretty.  Apparently she's just one of the fairies that show up on the load screen.  I like her, though, and I think I'll call her George.  The Sister in Law loved it very much.  We ended up being able to get her tattooed that day as well, to work on her back piece. I snapped a picture during said inking, and this is what I got.

No, she's not naked.  Her tank top straps are down, and it looked like it, thus the picture.  Of course, Tim had to ham it up.  Always ones for a laugh, we are.

Power Hour x2

I haven't had much time to post lately, much less make a cool card.  The Hubs ripped a calf muscle, so I'm swamped in all his Honey-Do's as well. One of the besty's  throws a Valentine's Day party every year, and this year my Dad sent me a V-Day card in the mail(always cool to get something other than bills), and I found myself with only about an hour to knock out cards for the both of them.  Here's the one for the besty--

This was made, mostly, out of scraps and such sitting on my desk.  Now here's the one for Dad--

I got that heart as a freebie from Tiddly Inks, on their PCP page.  I'm pretty sure there's a badge over to the right of this post for a link.  Made both of these within the hour time frame I gave myself.  They could be better, and they could also be a whole lot worse.  It's your call. =)

HDH075-Flesh Eating Frenzy

I swear I'm the only person in the world WITHOUT an MS Goo punch, and I want one!  Waah!

Now that I'm done with that tantrum, I'd like to show you my entry for this weeks challenge at Haunted Design House.  Flesh Eating Frenzy is the theme. VERY EXCITE!  I loves me some zombies, and I knew I was going to go that route instantly.  After an unsatisfactory Google search, I decided to go with an image that I already had, and love.

That's my husband and I, sharing a dead flesh kiss on one of our annual Hallowicked festivities.  I did our make up myself using foam latex masks and lots of blood gel.  I only wish the viscera like effect hadn't been lost in the picture.  However, I think our make up was BAD ASS that year, which in turn makes this a pretty cool card.  I even have this picture blown up and framed and hung in our home, I love it that much.

Death cannot stop true love; it can only delay it for a while.

Simply Betty Challenge #4-Bling It On!

This weeks challenge at SBC is Bling It On.  Bling up your card, or project.  Well, check this out--

I used London, from Simply Betty's Emo World kids.   I blinged this thing up, big time.  Her entire skirt is covered in Stickles, as well as the front of her hair. Every paper on this card is a glittery paper.  A picture doesn't do the bling justice, but what can ya do?  Needless to say, I look like a stripper with all the glitter covering me right now, so I think I'll go find my clear platform heels and give the hubs a show.  Ha.

Power Hour

Got a message on that damned Facebook, asking if I could make a card for a boyfriend(not mine, duh).  This chicka says she wants a Bugs Bunny or Lola Bunny card, due to said boyfriends nickname is Bugs Bunny.  Yes, I thought it a bit of a weird nickname too, but I digress.  Being that I've got 3 cards this week to work on, I took the good ole Google route for my image.   So here ya go--
Sexy, for a bunny, eh?  Yeah, sexy and bunny don't usually go together in a sentence.  I finally used one of my new embossing folders for my Sizzix.  Found some lacy looking paper I had in a stack o scraps given to me, and I colored those purty flowers me-self.  Creepy Glowskull-get ya some!-rounds out my purty, Stickled Lola Bunny, and voila!.  V-Day card, for a dude called Bugs.  The coolest thing about this card?  I made it in an hour!  Don't know if that's cool for any of you, but that's a RECORD for me.  I'm off to see the Wizard.  Have a good Hump Day.
