We're blowing this pop stand..

We are moving this weekend, into a beautiful new home. Unfortunately, all my wonderful craft supplies are packed, so no card making for me! My internet will be down from the 2/1 to 2/9, according to the phone company, but I'm hoping for sooner! Can't wait to get back on here and post some more cards!!

Fairies for two

Ravelyn is a good friend of mine, and she asked me to make birthday cards for her two Moms, biological and step. Both share the same birthday ( can you believe that?), and both love fairies, so here was my chance to give these girls a go!

Hogs and Sketches January 2010 Challenge

This is my first time entering a Hambo sketch challenge, and I do believe my 2nd time doing a sketch challenge ever! I wanted to make a "thinking of you" type card.
I got this cute Hambo image from my very crafty friend Gloria. She turned me on to the world of cards, scrapbooks, stamping, sketch challenges, and all things crafty! The layout was designed by a very talented MacKenzie, whom I met recently. Both these women have been great inspirations to me!
This challenge was very easy for me to do, being a beginner. There is one challenge for each month, and 2 winners are picked! Both can score some free Hambo digi or rubber stamps! I'm glad just to have been part of the challenge. I love the small, yet meaningful "Smile". We all could use that!

For my love

My husband's birthday is this coming Monday. For Christmas he got me quite a few things to make my craft room that much more amazing, so I wanted to make him a nice card. I used this image my friend printed me out from Jeff Thomas. My husband always tells me I worry too much about him, or just worry too much in general (which I'm sure I do), so I thought this sentiment funny and sweet all at the same time. I used a sketch I got from the Mojo Monday blog, however the sketch was from 2009. I absolutely love this card, if I do say so myself.

BLOGOVERSARY BLOG CANDY

It's been too long since I've posted, let alone make a card. I decided to wait until after Christmas, being that all I asked for was craft stuff. Santa brought me what I asked for, so now it's on!

New to the blogging/crafting scene in general, I've found some very neat things thanks to some wonderful friends. I've recently started following many fellow crafters, and one I've found that today is Taylord Concepts. Go hop over there guys, her work is amazing. She's also celebrating her 1 year blogoversary, with some awesome blog candy to be had! Well, off to stamp and cut and color paste! Happy stamping everyone!
