Hogs and Sketches #6-Designer Goulash

Here is my entry for March's challenge over at the Hambo Hogs and Sketches blog. After winning 2nd place again last month, I was even more excited to play! I chose this cute Dinos in Love digi as my loot. Aren't they cute!
Instead of a sketch, this months challenge was a bit different. They took elements from each design team member, and made a "goulash". The card had to be 4.5x5.5, using the paper piecing technique, colors red and purple, and dew drops for the embellishment. This was the most challenging card for me thus far, being that I'd never done paper piecing. I used a really neat swirly pattern to add on to the dinos bellies, the boy dinos scales, and a couple of hearts. I colored the rest with Copic markers, added some Stickles(oh I LOVE Stickles), and a couple red dew drops. Though fear almost made me run for the hills with this one, I actually had a lot of fun doing this, and plan to use paper piecing many times over.
You should hop on hover to the Hambo blog and check their challenges out. It's a great way to score some free images, rubber or digital(they're all so cute!), and most of all it's really fun! Thanks to all the folks at Hambo for the awesome challenges!
